Dutch-to-English Legal Translation

One of the translation projects we’re starting off with in 2020 is a sizable Dutch-to-English project. The entire project includes more than 100 files of various types and lengths. Our client is a legal firm.

The entire project will take several weeks to complete. After the translation process is complete (performed by a skilled human translator) a second linguist will then proofread the first translator’s work. An additional lighter review of the finalized English text is performed prior to delivery. A high quality translation routinely results from this sequence of steps.

It’s common for translation projects that involve litigation to include many different types of documents, file types, emails, even handwritten notes relevant to the legal proceedings. All can be folded into the body of text for translation and be output as useful English text based files.
